It has been said that we were only born with two fears. They are the fear of loud noises and the fear of falling. No, we were not born afraid of snakes. In fact if you were to put a snake in a baby's crib the baby will pet it and may EMC E20-001 even lick it. We already know how to meet people. However, due to factors such as family, culture, and society which contribute to this social anxiety we fail to live up to our networking potential. However, we have the ability to network and meet people anytime and anywhere.
People are afraid of rejection when they meet new people. Apart from a drawback such as nervousness a person does not like to be rejected. The fear of rejection may be greater than the rejection itself. It is this fear that causes a person to pass up on opportunities when it comes to meeting people. For a guy it may even prevent him from going and talking to a girl even after she smiles at him. This social phobia causes us to analyse and over think EMC E20-830 the process when it comes to meeting people. A person has to take some form of action in order to meet people. Self help books, seminars or personality training sessions can only do so much to help someone.
I will focus on the first two steps of meeting someone. I would like to call the first step "the presentation." You have to consider whether or not you would like to meet yourself based on your appearance. Who said that you can't tell a book by its cover. If you look presentable then chances are you present a good image of yourself and look like someone worth meeting. Clearly, this step is very important and might even be considered 50 percent of the battle. If you hope to meet well groomed or pleasant looking individuals then you should look like one yourself.
The second step is so simple it can be done by anyone. You can do it with your eyes closed and your hands tied behind your back. Young children and pets are very good at this step and they execute it in many cases flawlessly. It comes naturally to them as they do not put any thought into it. It is an action step and one that if done repeatedly can help you become comfortable with meeting people. Can you say hello? Now can you say hello to someone. When you are greeted by a friendly child or a dog wagging its tail it can be one of the most pleasant feelings in the world. It is their way of saying hello. In a world where at times everyone seems into themselves you can become the person to break the monotony by just saying hello.
These two MSC-112 small steps can help you become better at meeting people. The first step can be done by everyone. The second step is simple and requires you to take some action. Have the courage to do it because it is only in doing that you can accomplish your goal.
